Dinem Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales. We provide the Roverzo smart motorhome diagnostic dashboard application and related services.

2. What Data We Collect
Account Data
- Email address and display name (when you create an account)
- Authentication tokens
- Subscription tier and payment status (processed by Stripe; we do not store card details)
Vehicle Data
- OBD-II diagnostic data: engine RPM, speed, coolant temperature, battery voltage, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and other standard/extended PIDs
- Vehicle profile: make, model, year, VIN (optional, stored locally by default)
- Sensor hub data: temperature, humidity, tyre pressure (TPMS), solar/battery readings (Victron)
Usage Data
- App usage analytics (pages visited, features used)
- Crash reports and error logs
- Device type and operating system version
3. How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery: Displaying live diagnostics, health scores, alerts, and trip history
- Cloud sync: Syncing your data between devices when you opt in (Pro/AI Companion tiers)
- AI features: Processing vehicle data to provide AI Companion responses (AI Companion tier only; data is sent to our AI provider for inference and is not retained by them)
- Product improvement: Aggregated, anonymised analytics to improve the app
- Support: Responding to your enquiries and troubleshooting issues
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Roverzo service you subscribed to
- Legitimate interest: Product improvement, security, fraud prevention
- Consent: Optional analytics, AI data processing, marketing communications
5. Data Storage and Security
Vehicle data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database by default. If you enable cloud sync (Pro/AI Companion tiers), data is transmitted via TLS 1.3 and stored in our PostgreSQL cloud database hosted in the EU (UK data centre).
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe: Payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
- Anthropic: AI inference for AI Companion features (data is not retained)
- Hosting providers: Cloud infrastructure within the EU/UK
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Restrict processing: Limit how we use your data
- Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent

8. Data Retention
- Local device data: retained until you delete the app or clear data
- Cloud-synced data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 90 days of account closure
- Anonymised analytics: retained indefinitely
9. Cookies
The Roverzo web portal uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
Roverzo is not intended for use by individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
