No. The Essential kit works entirely with the free tier and never requires a subscription. Pro and Ultimate kits include hardware that benefits from a subscription, but if you cancel, your device continues to work at Essential-level functionality.
Your hardware keeps working. You retain all Essential-tier features including habitation monitoring, gas detection, and SD card logging. Pro and Ultimate features such as OBD-II diagnostics, AI, cloud sync, and security alerts will be paused until you resubscribe.
Yes. You can switch at any time from your account settings. When switching to annual, you will be credited for any remaining time on your monthly plan. Annual plans save you approximately 17% compared to paying monthly.
Absolutely. We offer upgrade kits that add the extra components needed to move from Essential to Pro, or from Pro to Ultimate. You only pay the difference in hardware cost plus any applicable subscription change.
New Pro and Ultimate kit purchases include a 30-day free trial of the full subscription. After the trial, you can continue with a paid subscription or your device will revert to Essential-tier features.
