Installation Guides
-
Mount the sensor hub
Secure the sensor hub in the habitation area using the included mounting bracket. Choose a central, well-ventilated location.
-
Connect the MQ-2 gas sensor
Position the gas sensor near the cooker or heater. Mount at low level for LPG detection. Connect to the sensor hub via the provided cable.
-
Position DHT22 sensors
Place one DHT22 sensor inside the habitation area and one outside (under an awning or protected spot). Avoid direct sunlight.
-
Install water level probes
Attach the water level probes to your fresh and grey water tanks using the adhesive-backed sensors. Route cables to the sensor hub.
-
Connect the BMP280 barometric pressure sensor
Plug the BMP280 module into the I2C port on the sensor hub. This provides atmospheric pressure and weather trend data.
-
Wire to 12V power
Connect the 12V-USB-C converter to your leisure battery circuit. Route the USB-C cable to the sensor hub.
-
Insert MicroSD card and power on
Insert the included MicroSD card for local data logging. Power on the sensor hub and wait for the status LED to turn solid green.
-
Complete Essential installation first
Follow all 7 steps of the Essential Kit installation above before proceeding.
-
Plug in vLinker MC+ OBD adapter
Locate the OBD-II port under the dashboard on the driver side. Plug in the vLinker MC+ adapter firmly until it clicks.
-
Attach TPMS valve cap sensors
Replace the existing valve caps on all 4 tyres with the Roverzo TPMS valve cap sensors. Hand-tighten only.
-
Mount ultrasonic LPG sensor
Attach the ultrasonic sensor to the top of your gas bottle to monitor LPG level without cutting any pipes.
-
Open Roverzo app and pair via Bluetooth
Launch the Roverzo app on your tablet. Go to Settings and tap "Pair Devices". The app will discover all connected sensors.
-
Run initial scan
With the engine running, tap "Full Scan" in the app. Verify that 30+ parameters are being read correctly.
-
Complete Pro installation first
Follow all steps of the Pro Kit installation above before proceeding with security components.
-
Mount ADXL345 accelerometer
Attach the accelerometer to a flat, rigid surface (e.g. floor or chassis rail) using the included adhesive pad. Ensure it is level.
-
Position PIR motion sensor
Mount the PIR sensor in a central interior location with a clear line of sight to the main habitation area.
-
Install reed switch sensors
Attach 4 reed switch sensors to doors and windows. Mount the magnet on the moving part and the sensor on the frame.
-
Mount 120dB siren
Install the siren in a hidden but acoustically effective location. Wire to the sensor hub alarm output.
-
Wire immobiliser relay
Connect the immobiliser relay to the starter circuit. This prevents engine start when the security system is armed. Follow the wiring diagram in the printed guide.
-
Mount GPS module
Position the GPS module where it has a clear view of the sky (e.g. near a window or under a thin roof panel).
-
Connect LiPo battery backup
Plug the LiPo battery into the sensor hub backup port. This ensures the security system remains active if main power is cut.
-
Mount SOS button
Install the SOS button in an accessible location (e.g. near the driver seat or habitation door). Connect to the sensor hub.
-
Configure security zones in app
Open the Roverzo app, go to Security settings, and assign each sensor to a zone. Test the alarm by triggering each sensor.
